Begins with sweet, orange citrus and pineapple then quickly becomes quite peppery and spicy with flavours of cloves, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla.

Midleton Very Rare 2016

The 2016 vintage of Midleton Very Rare effortlessly combines smoothness with some really nice, old pot still complexity. Notes of honey and beeswax followed by some spicy notes of ground ginger, vanilla and oak.

Midleton Virgin Oak Blend

Aged in unused 'virgin' oak which had added lots of sweet, spicy flavours. Almost Bourbon-like with flavours of vanilla, toasty oak, caramel and tropical fruits.

Millar's Black Label Irish Whiskey 1st Bottling

A rare old bottling from Millar Merchants who were bottlers and grocers on Dublin's Thomas St. Given that the old Powers Distillery was literally round the corner from them it is likely this contains a good dollop of John Power's whiskey.
