A D Rattray Cooley Single Cask Irish Malt Whiskey Aged 10 Years

Glass - 35.5cl€14.95

Drawn from a single bourbon cask in 2006 by independent bottlers A.D. Rattray, this is a typical fruity Cooley malt. The bottling strength of 46% adds a little weight. Think of a slightly beefier Tyrconnell, with its vanilla, pear and sweetshop notes.

This one's from independent bottler Blackadder International. It's from a small batch of unpeated Irish whiskey distilled in Co Antrim... Blackadder don't chill filter or colour their whiskey, so it can be enjoyed just as it was when it left the cask.

Smooth, fruity and malty and not even the faintest hint of smoke. Nice peach, nut and fresh ginger flavours.
