We are delighted to announce that last night our Head Chef Jason Nolan was crowned Chef of the Year at the Icons of Whisky Global Awards in London.

Last night on Thursday, 24 March, the industry’s finest gathered together at the Honourable Artillery Company in London to celebrate the 2022 Whisky Magazine Awards.

The annual Icons of Whisky awards aim to celebrate the achievements of outstanding people and places in the global whisky industry, and we are delighted to have been represented at this prestigious event. Jason Nolan, our Head Chef has gone from strength to strength, from climbing the ladder as a kitchen porter to working in a number of fine dining establishments as well as being a finalist in 2017 and 2018 for Ireland's Best Young Chef. He is now being awarded the Best Chef in the Icons of Whisky Global Awards! This is a huge accolade and we are unbelievably proud of Jason and all the incredible work he has done.

Managing Director Ally Alpine said, “We are honoured and very proud of the fantastic achievements of Chef, Jason Nolan, and the Celtic Whiskey Bar & Larder. This award is an extremely high level of recognition for our store and bar and after a very challenging year it has been great to have the support from our customers and members of the industry.”

A huge congratulations to all the winners last night, and thanks to the Whisky Magazine for hosting.
